This natural soy candle is so fun to make and is a perfect gift around the holiday season. You can also use this general recipe below and just mix and match the essential oils to suit the moods of a particular month. The wonderful possibilities are endless.
Melt the soy wax and coconut oil in a double boiler. Remove from heat once melted.
Stir in your essential oils and stir until well blended, about 1 minute.
Dip the bottom of the candle wick into the wax mixture and allow it to adhere to the bottom of the container.
Prop wick upright using a clothespin or centering device. Pour the wax into the containers.
Allow the candles to cool. Trim the wick to ¼” height.
Use the candle according to standard safety or give as a crowd pleasing gift.
